Dr. Susan English-Thompson
Doctor of audiology
Susan English-Thompson is the owner and managing audiologist at Sackville Hearing Centre. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa, U.S.A. her Masters of Science Degree in Audiology at Dalhousie University and most recently her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Arizona.
Upon graduation she worked as an audiologist at Willow Hearing Care in Truro, Nova Scotia before opening Sackville Hearing Centre in May 1999. She is certified through the Canadian Association of Speech-language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA), is an active board and committee member of the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA), and active member of Sounds+.
Her continued interest and love of audiology is evident in her day-to-day interactions with her patients. Originally from Newfoundland, she now resides in the Sackville area with her family.
